“ Banging Jerk chicken. Will be back for more soon. Coleslaw would be better if it was made in house. Soup of the day lacked spice, was like a gravy - wouldn’t get it again. ”
“ Big, spicy and tasty portions. House speciality is the jerk chicken. They have lunchtime specials and student deals from Monday to Friday. The personnel isn't really welcoming nor helpful, but who cares as it is cheap and good! ”
“ Came to Peckham to buy some goat meat. There was Plenty of mutton, but no goat meat, Why ?. However I had looked up West Indian takeaways before I came, and had read the reviews for this place, they were high in their praise , so I decided to come here to buy dinner, Really pleased I did, I bought some fried fish , 2.50 a portion, I bought 3 , really moist , really tasty . I also ordered a large jerk chicken meal which was delicious and huge, enough for 2 meals. In fact I’m heating up the leftovers as I critique. Add to that, The woman who served me was lovely, kind and welcoming. Highly recommend ”

“ JB’s soul food has been my go-to for a few years now - super local, fast service and the owner is accommodating and friendly. We ordered over the phone for a pick up. We ordered salt fish patties, large oxtail and jerk chicken meals with rice and peas, coleslaw and plantain. The flavours were great, super generous with the portions, meat was super tender and full of flavours. Cant complain. Highly recommend!!!!!!! ”
